A study conducted by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has projected that a magnitude 7.2 earthquake along the West Valley Fault could cause the coll*pse of at least 168,000 buildings and result in the d*aths of over 33,000 people in Metro Manila and surrounding provinces.
